Company History

Alpha opened for business in 1978 as Alpha Mailing Service. Our founder, Oliver Emmert, owned and operated several other businesses after spending 25 years in the textile industry.

Oliver ventured into the micro computer software business and started mailing catalogs to software stores around the US, which is how we got our start in mailing. To satisfy the needs of our customers, we added printing to go along with the mailing, so here we are doing Printing and Mailing.

In 2005 we bought Shelby Printing which expanded our printing capabilities and brought us new customers. Many of those we still do business with today.
